From 2005 until about 2010, I designed a series of typographically meticulous magazine parodies full of New York media-world in-jokes. They got a lot of attention from influential blogs like Gawker and Design Observer.

I initially started making these for Panopticist, my personal blog at the time. They caught the eye of some folks at Vanity Fair, and I created a bunch for VF, too. Here’s a selection.
